Abstract

This article aims to show the importance of Human
Resource (HR) processes in the deployment of
corporate social responsibility, in particular in the
adoption of a responsible management. It focuses on
the extent to which operational managers mobilize
these HR processes in their responsible management.
The study, led at Group La Poste, reveals the prior
importance that managers place on HR processes
(performance management, incentives, training,
communication) but also on informal dimensions
such as exemplarity and values to deploy responsible managerial practices. It also shows some gaps
between managers’ expectations and their mobilization of these HR processes. It confirms some
research concerning the influence of HR processes
in developing CSR and sustainable development and
completes them by highlighting managerial practices.
