BELIEVING IN YOUR HEALTH THE ENERGETIC RELIGION OF SPORT AND HEALTH

Abstract

Believing in one’s health has become the liberal and medical prescription by sport-health to empower the contemporary subject in the right to have one’s own body. If biopower rules through preventive and predictive health, a new religion is the basis of this belief: more holistic and energetic, sport-health physically and psychologically activates a medicine of well-being that provides a natural illusion of happiness.
