Abstract

This article provides a review of the literature on touching and the well-being of students. As PE is an core part of the time they dedicate to physical and sport practice, the study of their physical, social and mental well-being related to touch seems to be indicative of their tactile behavior. We will study more specifically the impact of the sense of touch and of physical contact to illustrate and enrich existing research works. The exploration of the students’ experiences and of their bodies will however alert us on certain aspects of ill-being and alienation from others while looking at certain profiles.
