The theoretical calculation of daily allowances in case of work stoppage due to an accident at work or occupational disease suggests a lower amount than the victim's previous net salary. In fact, this calculation is weighted by different mechanisms that make it not so: daily allowances are exempt from social security contributions except for CSG and CRDS, a supplemental remuneration allowing the partial maintenance of the employee's salary is provided for by the labor code, the collective agreement may provide for more advantageous provisions than the legal requirements imposed on the employer, such as, for example, the full maintenance of the salary.
