Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) is a relatively recent and complex phenomenon, from which medicine is no longer exempt. Based on three research projects approved by the Ethics Committee for Data Research of Foch Hospital, we focus, in this article, on a precise medical specialty, radiology, in which the use of AI is being developed. More precisely, using general knowledge relating to AI and radiology, and, above all, the research performed on this subject at Foch Hospital, we try to identify potential major bioethical issues and we propose an initial satisfactory solution: dynamic informed consent. This study will also serve as the basis for reflections we wish to establish and to propose to all medical disciplines aspiring to include AI in their practices, at Foch Hospital and elsewhere.
